Jeremy Jackson and AJ Farmer cash in!

The post spawn bite was tough at Wilson Lake June 6th.  The wind picked up to 15-20 mph to keep our anglers moving around the lake searching for key bites.  These anglers are the best Kansas fisherman out there, and they didn't disappoint with 107 bass totaling 204 lbs.  KTT anglers caught several short fish throughout the 80 degree day, but Jeremy and AJ found enough weight to net a first place win totaling $2,345 in cash and prizes!  We appreciate Midway Motors of Newton for being our headliner for this event.  Stay tuned for details on the upcoming August tournament.  We are leaning more to Cedar Bluff, but want to finalize some details with KDWP and the Corps of Engineers before making the final decision.  Summers are hot here in Kansas and could serve a key role in selecting the post summer tournament location.  We will finish out our season on Perry Lake in September, and post results and qualifying teams for the Championship on Milford in October.

Travis Blenn and Grant Srajer sacked 13.97lbs during our second stop of the 2015 Kansas Team Trail Circuit on Melvern Lake.  Melvern is known for large smallmouth and this duo didn't disappoint even though thunderstorms rolled through during the afternoon soaking everything and everyone in it's wake.  KTT had over 30 boats trying to earn any of the top six payout slots of the day.  Travis and Grant represented the Kansas State University Fishing Team by bringing in a hefty five bass limit as well as big bass weighing 4.03lbs.  There hard work paid off big with a total prize purse of $2,673.00!
